Your role – Are you ready for a challenge?
The Private Markets Monitoring Officer within the Private Markets Monitoring Team is responsible for administering a portfolio of Private Equity and Real Estate funds or other alternative assets with limited liquidity and transferability (Non-Traditional Assets – NTA).
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
The execution of controls in relation to the valuation of PE/RE funds including the cash & securities reconciliation, the analysis of variances, the reconciliation of units and other related tasks.
The relation with internal teams to make sure that transactions in relation to PE/RE funds are booked accurately & timely.
The communication with custodian banks in Luxembourg and abroad to make sure that cash and securities are correctly reconciled;
The handling of internal & external queries in relation to the portfolio of PE/RE funds;
Proper documentation and filing of collected and analysed documentation;
Accurate application of the corporate NTA policies and NTA procedures.
Your profile – Have you got what it takes to become our Private Markets Monitoring Officer ?
Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance Economics, Accounting or any other relevant field;
1-5 years’ experience in Private Equity or Real Estate fund administration or accounting through a Fund Administrator, Management Company, Bank or Insurance;
Strong capabilities in analysing PE/RE funds valuations and statements;
Hands on attitude, i.e. full ownership of the assigned cases;
Data management skills and good knowledge of Excel for establishing private investments bookings.
Service-oriented and solution finder attitude;
Strong team player and strong communication skills, eager to learn;
Proficiency in English. Fluency in French is a strong advantage, any other European language would be considered as an asset.
