Job Description:
Meltdown Massive Limited is looking for a dedicated Commis Chef to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Follow recipes and instructions from the head chef to ensure dishes are prepared correctly.
Presentation and Portioning: Ensure dishes are garnished, portioned, and presented according to standards.
Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your workspace and utensils.
Training and Mentoring: Support and train junior chefs and apprentices.
Ingredient Management: Communicate shortages of ingredients and assist with stock replenishment.
Teamwork: Collaborate efficiently with other kitchen team members.
Professional Development: Participate in training sessions and seminars to enhance skills.
Health and Safety: Adhere to all food safety, fire safety, and HACCP regulations, and report any issues to the head chef.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Experience: 2 years’ experience as a Commis Chef.
Desired Qualifications: Certification in food safety (HACCP) is an advantage.
Skills: Ability to work under pressure, excellent communication skills, and a strong team spirit.

Working Hours: 39 hours per week
